Waiting in airports
When flying out of Montreal to Raleigh, NC for a conference, I came in the airport 2hrs before my flight time, and barely made it to the gate, with about 3 minutes to the door closing. And this was for a 6h10 AM flight !!!
So when came time to leave from Raleigh, I made sure I got to the airport a good 3hrs before, so I wouldn’t run into the same issue – I don’t like sweating to run to my gate. Well, as luck would have it, it took me all of 9 minutes to go through ticketing and security (even with the ‘no liquid’ policy), and I got to spend to next 2h53 minutes doing work on my Thinkpad…
