I know I’ve said in the past that I wouldn’t play with my blog’s look’n’feel, but when you’re a geek…
Over the next few weeks (months?), I’ll be transitioning all my online presences to a single Drupal-powered website, which will include my multiple blogs, interests, pictures, social bookmarks, etc.
The fact is that after adding many applications, I feel that my domain is severely disjointed. I mean, I have all these open source packages running in different directories, which is all nice and good functionality-wise, but it’s not helping me simplify my life – it’s making it more complicated – more places to look, more things to troubleshoot, to integrate, etc.
I chose Drupal, not only because it’s probably the only CMS I haven’t tried yet, but also because it got so many endorsement recently, not the least of which being IBM itself, as posted on the developerWorks blogs.
So I’ve started working on my new site, which will have all the facets of my life (personal, professional, etc) from a single spot. I can’t wait. One interface to rule them all…
