Expired domain… how could I forget

Well, I let my domain lapse and the minute it does, my access was cut. It took me a few hours to figure it out.

Funny thing is the same thing happened for another domain name I manage for a friend, just months ago. At that point, I had put a recurring yearly reminder in my Palm to let me know of it in the future. Didn’t cross my mind to do it for my own domain.. It only took minutes to reactivate it, once I graciously provided the required sums through my plastic friend.

Now I know how Microsoft and other majors must have felt when someone said: «Oups, we forgot to pay the $30 fee…»
